South Burlington, VT · Serving Schools Nationwide
The Center for Curriculum Renewal LLC partners with schools, districts, and educational organizations to build coherent, high-performing systems of curriculum, instruction, and assessment — with the learner at the center.
Who We Are
The Center for Curriculum Renewal LLC works with schools, school districts, state and national departments of education, industry, and foundations to support systemic implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Judy F. Carr, Ed.D. offers a limited number of comprehensive, customized contracts to organizations seeking in-depth, ongoing support for district leaders and principals. Each engagement is tailored to local needs — augmenting the work of local experts or filling gaps where designated curriculum positions don't exist.
CCR has worked predominantly with high-poverty schools and districts, as small as one school per level in Liberty, NY and as large as the 115 schools in Pinellas County, Florida. Judy's career spans years of classroom teaching, district curriculum leadership, university professorships, and independent consulting across the US. She was a recipient of the Vermont ASCD Outstanding Curriculum Leadership Award, and she worked for several years as a faculty member for ASCD, including designing and delivering national leadership institutes.
What We Do
CCR's signature Leadership Impact Coaching supports principals, curriculum directors, and district leaders with ongoing professional development, individual coaching, and administrative team facilitation.
Example: Worked with a Delaware school district on development of a Strategic Plan of Action, a cohesive Instructional Model with implementation tools, and related School Success Plans driven by leadership teams in every school.
CCR develops tools and protocols to support system-wide linkage of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to identified standards — from individual classrooms to district-wide implementation.
CCR offers a comprehensive menu of curriculum review options — from standards-alignment audits to full program evaluations — for schools, districts, grant recipients, and non-profits.
On-site and virtual coaching, study groups, and professional learning communities — customized to meet the specific needs of your organization and designed for sustainable implementation.
